Cars hold a enormous amount of meaning in this day and age. They are the key to adulthood in a way. Cars lead you to adventure: new places, new people and potentially a whole life. Not only that, they are also an essential part of everyday life in order to get to work, school or anywhere really. They are used for racing- a source of entertainment. Cars give us the ability to do so much we could not do on our own. All of this lead me to create my booklet about cars for this project about the noun "car".

I began with all my thoughts about cars and put it to a mind map to organize my thoughts. Then I branched off from there sketching some rough logos. At the same time, I searched through the interment for photos to represent all my thoughts of cars.

After coming to one logo, I carved it to prepare to stamp it. I stamped it a few times and perfected it. With all my collected images, I then converted them all to grayscale and put them into InDesign. Then with my chosen monotone color palette applied to the images, I added page numbers and completed my booklet in InDesign. I stamped my stamp on my cardstock and began printing. I then bound my booklet together to complete it. To follow the full process, you may view my Dropmark here.
